This unit should use 3.2 oz 2 cycle oil per gallon of gas. You should be able to buy this at any hardware/lawn and garden store. It will say 2 cycle oil. It is OK to use a synthetic as well as petroleum based. It's handly that it comes in the right size bottle to mix with a gallon of gas. You use regular gas that you would purchase for a mower or your car. Take your gas container, put a bit of gas in at the pump, add your oil (the 3.2 oz bottle) and put the rest of a gallon in the can. This filling procedure will mix your oil with the gas just fine.
