The thermo is usually about 65 degrees, furnace set aprox. 62 degrees evenings, 60 degrees night. The humistate in bedroom shows 31 % dry and it is dry. The humidifier on the furnace is set at 35 and runs with the furnace only and we have been using a wood burner about 6 hours a day. Temp is between 7 to 10 degrees at night, 25 to 30 during the day (PA). House is multi level. 1400 sq ft Furnace is Carrier 8000, 7 years old, humidifer just installed with airconditioning and dehumdifier 10/09 by professional.
Double hung windows covered with wood blinds (throughout) in the upper (bedroom) level have a slight line of moisture on upper pane. At what setting should the Aprilaire be set.
