What would be the best way to fix a metal plate or trim on the outside of a wooden patio door?
My wooden patio door has a metal plate about 4 foot long by 10inches wide on the outside at the bottom of the door. It is starting to come loose from the wood. Is there a certain type of glue that would work well in winter, summer, rain, snow, etc.

2 part epoxys work very well . it will say wood metal plastic and bonds in around 5 minutes.
