What's a fair price to repair a light bulb on 440QE?
Dealer wants $600 to replace a circuit board in Bernina 440qe. Says that why the light isn't working. The light bulb flickered then stopped working. Machine sews fine.

Linda, The light bulb can fail for a number of reasons. If the power board has had the output transistor for the lighting circuit fail the 600.00 is reasonable. I would get a second opinion. Impossible to diagnose by email.
