Whats the most memory and hard drive I can use with an older gigabyte GA-7VA rev.1 ???? I am not that computer savy and I keep getting different answers from 2 many stores around here. The answers vary and being its age, I really don't think they really know for sure... I tried to look at and ask gigayte support but didnt get an answer. Somebody please help! Oh yeah, it has an Anthlon XP 2600+ barton cpu, Ati radeon 9200se 128, 3 DDR slots. 2 people told me I can run a 500gb sata hard drive, while another said it was 2 much and that it can only handle a 250gb pata drive???? HELP!!!

For your hard drive it would require an IDE hard drive for that model motherboard.
As far as the memory

- Max capacity : Up to 3GB by 3 DIMM slots

Yes that is correct about the memory. As far as the hard drive. I would just buy an IDE, you can get a 500gb in fact this one on newegg.com is a pretty good deal.
