When bass kicks in amp dims car lights and car amp gauge reads very low. Ground wire is 6 gauge about 18 inches long, power wire is 8 gauge about 8 or 9 feet long. subs are wired according to owners book as bridged

Do the big three upgrade if ur stock wires from your battery and alternator are very small ur not getting all the power the alternator and battery can handle its regulating your power
The problem is the amplifier is drawing more amperage than the alternator can provide. Install a capacitor in the battery feed line to the amplifier (can be purchased at any car stereo store). Do not go with the cheapest as this is a storage battery and like a battery cheap ones fail quickly.
