When charging the Nuvi 1250 in the car, does a green light mean it's charging? If so, is it safe to assume when the light is out it's fully charged? If so, we just charged ours for 4 hrs. but the battery shows only one bar and the screen says low battery. Thanks for any info you can share

We still haven't resolved this problem. After charging the unit for approx. 4 hours, we could at least turn it on and it stayed on but the battery status still only had one bar.BUT not for long. Now it's back to the original problem which is: when the unit is turned on, it only stays on for about 5 secs. and goes off. I tried calling the mfg. yesterday and was on hold for 1:30 min. and figured they're just not going to answer. Now I know why they want customers do it on-line; we have to pay for the answer, which I think is ridiculous after purchasing their product.
