When i am in video mode, my camera only records for 60 seconds then it stops and i have to hit record again. Is there a setting i need to change to fix this problem? its very frustrating

Is it EXACTLY 60 seconds EVERY time? If so, it sounds like a preference setting (probably default). Try going to the Menu section and look for a "Setup" routine and see if there is a "Max. Record Time" (or something similar) setting. Change as desired. Usually there is a choice for the maximum capacity of your recording media, SD card or whatever. If it starts out ending at 60 seconds and gets progressively shorter with each recording cycle, it may need recharging. Good luck. *Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, despite the handle.
