When I boot my computer My HF237 monitor will briefly show the page then go dark. How can I diagnos the problem?
Then page will show briefly then go black. The power light is still on but nothing on the monitor

Likely the monitor resolution is set to high. Boot up in safe mode and reset your monitor to a maximum resolution of 1920*1080. If your using Windows rapidly tapping, F8 or <Shift F8> when you first turn on the computer will get you to safe mode. Then right click on the desktop anywhere there is no icon, and select, "Screen Resolution". Select 1920*1080 maximum for your monitor, and that should fix it.
This is usually an issue with a failing capacitor. I replace them in mine often. In the monitor, on the power supply will be several capacitors (caps). Look for the tops to be domed these are bad. Try a site called badcaps if you are game to replace these.
