Have you set up a wireless network? If you are using XP, go to start, then click settings, then control panel. Click on network connections and see if your pc has been set up for a wireless network, while you are " in " Network Connections look and see if there is a network that has been set up that is shown in black, if it is, right click and delete or disable it. If you see no wireless network, go back to control panel, then click on Wireless Network Setup Wizard, and follow the onscreen instructions. If you run more than one pc or laptop on a wireless network, you need to pay particular attention to: My Network Places.
