When I go to open Firefox a bottom pops up saying, "firefox is already open" that I need to restart my computer" to log on. This happens quite often, and I actually do not have any windows open to close. Please help

Probably you have a trojan virus in your system. Try to do a System Restore to solve the problem. Scan your computer afterwards with your anti-virus. If this not solve the problem, try to use your Windows OS CD installer, boot it and use CHKDSK to repair files and your system.
