When i have the main power connector from my corsair cx500 watt power source plugged into my intel dh61ww motherboard, it will only stay on for like half a second. But when i plug the 12v 2x2 pins up it wont even turn on. The green standby light comes on so i know the board always has power, its just not going to anything else

Might be that something is still not seated or connected properly. Like the CPU or RAM. Trial and error on getting this going.
