When i insert the plug to my laptop, the sounds from the speakers disappeared so i thought it's alright but no sounds are coming from both buds.what should i do? it still has a warranty but i want to fix it

If the computer was playing sound earlier but now now, we can try doing system restore (if it is windows XP, Vista or Windows 7),
Procedure for XP:
Click on start
Click on Programs / all programs
Click on Accessories
Click on System Tools
Click on System restore
Choose restore your computer to a previous time
Choose a bold date, couple of days previously when you know your computer was working fine and follow on screen instructions
If you do not have a hardware problem, this should solve by loading the old settings.
Procedure for Vista / Windows 7:
Click on Start / orb / pearl
Type system restore and follow onscreen instructions to restore your computer to earlier time.
