When i plug in the heater and try to start it nothing happens. the light is on at the switch and the ac outlet works. i tried jumping the reset button and the limit switch. and nothing. i have power across the thermostat. is there a way of checking the curcuit board. also there is nothing flashing at the led light

Is the green light on on the circuit board .if not then you might have a blown fuse ,if yes the try jumping the heat from the board it self and you do that by putting a jumper from R to W This is where the thermostat wire is .if unit works then you have a bad thermostat
