When i power up my rdxs32, the loading symbol appears for several seconds, and after it says that there is a problem with the HDD and to contact toshiba for further assisstance. any suggetsions?

This is most probably an error message telling you that the Hard Drive in the unit has become corrupted. Below are two links first is to help you do it. The second is the Service manual you will need.
