When I press the power button on my ultra hd 2nd generation camcorder, the screen lights up with the flip logo and verbage that says hold the record button for setup. It also makes the correct sound for turning the camcorder on, but the screen goes black immediately afterwards. I can no longer record anything or view what the camcorder lens is positioned on. The camcorder will eventually "tun off" at which time the screen lights up with the flip logo and it makes the correct sound for turning off the power. It will also shut down if I press the power button a second time before the camcorder shuts off by its self. I was able to retrieve the clips from the camcorder that I had just shot before this problem occurred. Flip support had me wipe all the files from the camcorder and upload new files to the camcorder, but the problem still exists. Flip offered to let me trade the unit for a refurbished one at a cost of 79.99. I'm also told that the flip camcorder is no longer being produced, but are still available as long as supplies last. I've tried all the solutions listed here, but to no avail. Should I stick a fork in it?
