After you press the power button, press the delete button to access the system bios. If you can access the system bios, it means that your computer is quite fine, there could be something wrong with your windows. What I to troubleshoot is I usually use Ubuntu live CD. I don't need to install the linux but I could test if my computer is working fine.
If there are no response after pressing delete, try to remove the memory, video card. Unplug then replug. Make sure that the pins are clean. Use an eraser to clean the pins but make sure it is clean.
After that, see what will happen.
It could also be a problem with your power supply. If its possible for you to get another power supply and try it with your computer.
Hi, The rest button Will Only Work when the computers Running. When You Say " Nothing Happens " What do you Mean ???? Are There Any lights on the Front Panel ??? Can You Hear Any Sound Or noise ???? Does The Computer produce Any Beeps ???? if So How Many ???? Have you Plugged It In ???? Has The Fuse In The plug Blown ????? How do you expect suggestions, From such a Simple Question ???
