When I put my ethernet connection into the router I can see the network but when I try to connect it says that there is an error connecting to the network

Have you got the right key to access it wirelessly?Also if you got no luck then go into the router configuration which is something like 192.x.x.x and change the channel setting and if needed you can assign new encryption type and new key.Hope this helps.You may need to use the ethernet cable connection in order to connect into the router setting.Hope this helps.
when you hardwired it from the pc to the router using an ethernet cable, did you notice the network connection was successful before you try the 192.x.x.x ? Please allow a few moments before synchronisation takes place.Once it says connected then it should work else you have a different problem.Make sure the 192.x.x.x is the right one here.Also try to reset the router to factory setting and see what happens.Hope this helps.
