When i replace battery in alfa 146 the key code light on and no starting and i just have the red key and no code card i am in Egypt at holidays times and no agents i tried to disconnect battery for 3 hours and reconnect and no light off

Only soloution is to wait till agent is open as this requires the special diagnostic computer of the dealer to re-programme it ,changing the battery shouldnt make this light or the immobilisor come on but anything is possible with a motor vehicle ,you could try disconnecting the battery again and join the + and the - battery cables together and leave for a while as this may reset the software ,also check the key as you may have lost the chip out of the key inside the key is a little ceramic looking thing this is the memory for the immobilisor.
