When I shoot with my nikon, I'm able to capture pictures with great details and sharpnes. When I shoot with the sigma sd14 I don't get any details. The pictures are not sharp. I have tried mirror lock up, tripod, remote shutter release and I still can not get any sharp pictures. I have lost my time and many shots on 3 trips already because of this camera. Can u help me with this?. Please.

This Sigma has poor reviews at high iso levels i.e 1600, try dropping the iso levels down and see if there is any significant improvement.
