When I start up my car with the remote start, it will run for about 20-30 seconds and then cut off, but then the remote start will start it back up and it will run again for a few seconds and cut off and start back up one more time and cut off and stay off, why is this happening?

Most likely it is not seeing a good tach signal to show the car has started properly. Go back to where you had it installed and get them to check it over for you.
