1) Do they look good on your PC. If so its a printer issue if not, for some reason or other, you're not taking good photos 2) If they're good on the PC and print poorly then its a printer issue. Which can be many and varied. Usually, the wrong kind of paper. If you use ordinary vice photo quality paper the ink can run. Size, are you trying to print a small picture, say designed for 6x4 inches out on a piece of A4 at A4 size. Printer settings, are the set to the correct type of paper and for photo printouts. Ink, generaly, generic cartriges don't quite match the accuracy of manufacturer cartriges.
