When i try to install my 54g v6 with the origional disc the message displayed is " not able to connect router. I have tried this 50 times without success
Computers & Internet - Linksys - Wireless-G WRT54G Router
Make sure the router is turned on and connected to the computer through one of it's LAN ports. Open your Network adapter properties (through Network Connections in Control Panel), double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and make sure it's set to Obtain IP address automatically. If this doesn't work - reset your router by pressing the reset button for 20 seconds. give it 2 minutes to boot up again - and try again!
Are you connected via an Ethernet cable as this is the only way to set it up from start? Are you typing in the correct address 192.168. *.* and your NIC is enabled etc? Check all that, Check on another machine if you can to see if it is actually "Connectable" via the Ethernet port, if not the router is faulty. manual, below. ec1.images-amazon.com/media/i3d/01/.../MANUAL000000300.pdf
