When i turn on my projector it turns off and a red light starts blinking.its not the lamp as the lamp indicator is orange and i also replaced it with my spare bulb and the problem is still there.the fan is also working so i dont know what is causing it,any help or feedback will be greatly appreciated,thanks

Depending on the make and model, you should start by doing a hard reset. Power it down, unplug the pwr. cord and press the power button.
If this doesn't work. go into the menu on the remote and locate either reset all settings or reset to default settings.Even though your fan is running, it may have less hrs. on it then your bulb had. If neither of these work for you, I would have to say that it is probably the logic board on the projector.Good Luck!
THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE TIM.LAST NIGHT IT WAS WORKING AGAIN AND TONIGHT THE PROBLEM IS BACK.I LOOKED AT THE M300X MANUAL AND IT STATES THAT F THE STATUS LIGHT IS BLINKING 9 TIMES ITS A DYNAMIC CONTRAST ERROR BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW,ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I DO NOT HAVE A REMOTE CONTROL THOUGH.
the manual says its the dynamic contrast,do you know anything about that?thanks anyway for your reply chris.
