When I turn on the device the screen displays- ARHCOS entertainment yor way- and nothing else
This started suddenly and only 3 weeks after purchase. when I try reset with a paperclip= same problem. when i try tv/lcd button to get choices for recovery and reformat, i am able to find these choices on the screen but when I choose, the device goes back to the screen- ARCHOS entertainment your way.
I am traveling adn so can go easily return the device. ARCHOS says this is a terminal error.

I found the tech support line very helpful when I first got mine last December. Some things were solved with firmware. Sounds like you might need to get it replaced and you should be well within a warranty period to give a new one a try. Good luck! I love my archos 605!
