When I turn the radio on, it has a good signal strength, as shown by the icon. After about 10 seconds, the strength icon disappears and so does any reception
Have hit reset button. No help.Is my radio toast?

Most likely there's a defective component (like leaky capacitor). it could be 'toast ' if you can't replace said component
