When I turn the the ignition key and try to start my bike it starts and revs up to over 6,000 RPM instantly , I have to shut her off emedently or it will blow up . Have you any idea what to check ?

First check is to see if the throttle cable is hung up, holding the carby open to the max
If efi unit it could be a faulty throttle position sensor or throttle motor
