When I was sewing I stopped the machine to adjust the fabric and pushed on the petal to go again and nothing happened. no sound nothing. I called the bernina store and all they would say is bring it in...any ideas?

Check the simple things like making sure the plug is fully in the control and machine,failing that it will be a shop repair for Bernina
