Most likely to be something lodged in one of the holes inside the drum - commonly a wire from an underwired bra!

Examine the internal surface of the drum carefully with your hands to see if you can find anything protruding. If you find anything it does not belong there. Use a pair of pliers to gently but firmly remove it, maybe having to twist it to take account of the fact that it will now be bent.
