When I watch a movie and the dialogue switches to other languages when foreign characters are talking, I dont get any of the subtitles. I have to turn subs on when this happens. V frustrating
Toshiba DVD player SD1020KB I have at least 1 DVD with no subtitles on the disc. On other players the foreign dialogue is translated as part of the film but this is always missing on mine.

Maybe that's how it works, unless there is an auto subs or you must leave subs (aka subtitles) on.
