When I'm trying to print using the duplex module, the printer says : "Reset duplex unit correctly" and no print is done. What can I do to reset the duplex module?
Hi, this seems quite a simple issue with the printer. Duplexer has a doorswitch that occasionally goes bad (or more likely unplugged). Check for the switch and that should resolve the issue.
If you are not able to locate the switch then please perform the below task:
The duplex unit is where the paper is turned over, it is in the back of your printer. you will need to remove the manual bypass feed unit to see it. you can take the duplex unit off also (to clear a jam e.g.).Once you take the duplex unit off (it has little "locks" on it) you can see some levers that say "push" on them make sure you do that.
Once this is done put the duplex unit back on, install the bypass, voila!
Hope this helps.
Regards

Hi, The vertical box on the left side of the machine is not closed all the way. Open it, and close it again. It is directly on the left side of the main machine. It’s help u. Good luck! And Thanks.

Remove and reinstall the duplex paper feed unit. If the error continues, contact Ricoh ringing the number listed on the owners manual. In that case the duplex unit may be defective. Disconnect power and restart the printer after you check the duplex unit. Open duplex unit cover (nr 2 in diag.) and check the duplex unit (part 1).
