When on its shuts off by it self after a few minutes.Then comes back on after I hit the on button again.I was given this monitor,so got no softweare with it.What can I do(if anything)to fix this..thanx Ron

Rons1photogr, You will need to fix thermal intermittant solder joint and /or bad electrolytic filter capacitors on printed circuit board called "switch-mode-power-supply"/"CCFL inverter supply"???? Software can't fix this problem!!! Hardware refurbistment only. READ, READ, READ, more stuff in my profile on black screen repair s and or other options open to you. 12fixlouie
