When the door is locked, the inside handle is straight up and down, north and south. How do I fix this problem. It is a powerbolt 1000, part #41635-01. I just bought 2 of these at the Co-op store in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada

The Weiser brand and Kwikset brand Powerbolt are identical (Black & Decker), so these instructions will work just fine for you:
