When there is a sub hooked up to my 7002 there is always a very low level bass thump coming from it. It happens if there is a movie playing or even if it is paused. Ive tried 2 subs and 2 cables and the problem persists. Ive played with all the settings i can play with but unless the volume on the sub is way down I can both hear and feel this thump
