When utility power goes out, the transfer switch does not kick in to generator power. Switching manually works fine. Return to utility works fine automatically

Hello. the generator controller relies upon a voltage drop sensor and a 15 second timer to turn the generator to on. Any one of these three components could be the issue. If you are electronically minded and have a volt meter you could test each component, otherwise you will have to call youe electrician to isolate the problem and correct it. Regards, Joe
