I couldn't access my account just last week because I had my laptop worked on and he wiped all the cookies. Today the computer for no known reason let me reset the password on old account. Can I now login to it without interferring with the account i created?

Yes. Just sign out of one account by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out." You can then sign in to the other account.
