I think with the patriot it can depend on exactly which model and engine it is. I have described where the most likely places are but I think yours might be Option 1. It will be in one of three locations. This involves getting under the vehicle **so be careful**. 1. A metal canister with all the pipes going into the top, bolted to the firewall, (Bulkhead), next to the brake servo. 2. A metal canister with the pipes at each end bolted to chassis rail near the fuel tank. These are sometimes tucked into the inside edge of the rail for protection so look across to the far side of the Jeep when looking under the vehicle. 3. A metal canister attached to the side of the fuel tank itself. A similar canister to option 2.
