Where is the MAP sensor on a 2003 Mazda Protege5?
Can't get rid of P0106 code. Aftermarket intake. Can't find any vaccum leaks. Changed out MAF sensor, code still there. Was going to change out MAP sensor but cannot find the location of it on the internet.

It is typically located next to the passenger side strut tower. It has a vacuum line routed to the intake manifold directly above the altenator. A lot of times the problem is a leak in a connecting hose. Also, Mazda calls the MAP a EGR boost sensor. Do a vacuum diagram search and you will see. Even though you can buy it as a MAP.
