Just finished changing one out tonight on a 2004 H2 with 6.0L. It's on the back of the block, behind the intake manifold and beside the distributer. There is a wire harness connector on one side and a manifold bolt on the other so it's a tight space. Use a 12 point thin-wall deep socket (a 6 point deep impact socket won't clear). Then slid a 6" long piece of hose over the new unit to get started in the hole, wasn't enough room to get hands in to install without the hose.
