1st of all, turning over and cranking are both the same thing,,, you meant to say it would not start if you have a preasure test port it willl be in the rail , at the begining or end, not in the hoses , some models do not have a test shradder port but if you go to autozone and for about $25 purchase a tester it comes with adapters to connect between the injection rail and the hose (after you disconnect it with the correct quick disconnect tool) it has a port on it for test purposes only not as a permanent add on
