I need a replacement knob for my Wolf gas cooktop (CT36G-stainless) because the plastic insider one of my knobs has broken. I've looked everyplace I can think of online, and also checked locally with the store where I bought it - Factory Builders Store in Houston (they have been no help - won't be buying from them again) and other Wolf retailers. Called the Wolf customer service number - they require not only the Model number, but also the Serial Number, which requires pulling out the cooktop (not easy, and it's mounted over my oven) or scheduling a service call with a Wolf repairman to find the serial number and order/replace the knob. I cannot imagine how or why is it this difficult to replace a knob on this appliance. The knobs on this model are plastic on the inside, and the plastic breaks easily - if they were all metal, this wouldn't be an issue.
