While I am driving my 2002ford taurus will loose power it is still running but won't ho until I shut it off snd restart it then it is fine untill it happens again when This happens the battery light comes on

Your battery is dead or your transformer which loads the battery and since your ignition etc run on the battery, the spark gets smaller etc. And your accu allways turns some electrons back and you just can start and drive. Let a neighbour look at it a check the belt, maybe it just slips. Transformers ain't cheap
