While running on treadmill I got an odor of slight motor burn out. Then i got a code of FET and the machine shut down. After ten minutes i plugged back in and it would have operated but i didn't use. Is the motor likely burned out?

Hi, some treadmills you have to top up the oil in the motor just like a car. if you have the instruction booklet this will be explained. and the burning smell is normally the belt on the motor and not the motor it self. hope i have helped.
