Whirlpool bath turns on at random , suspect bad controller.??
Aker, new 2003 . does not have air switch. Elect on/off switch connects to controller, then controller to pump.Happened about 6 weeks ago than today. I turned the breaker off for now. House was built 2003 and no access was left for pump. At least my hole in the wall will be in a closet.

So this happened 6 weeks ago. If I read between the lines, I will assume that you may have just acquired this house a short time ago.
And since you are talking about an "air switch", I will assume this is an air tub.
Air tubs are designed to turn the air blower on in a pre-determined time after the water has been drained. This function blows out the remaining water in the lines and jets to reduce water accumulation and bacteria buildup.
