Whirlpool Cabrio sn WTW6600SW1 Does not fill to soak cloths. other cycles seem to work. replace control board with no change. was a service center suggestion. help
I don't know. most washers have a lid safety switch that must be indicating the door or lid is properly closed. please check this switch is working properly. i just used a volt meter on a top loader. the lid switch was damaged. if no water coming in, check hot and cold water are turned on. if no water, shutoff taps and disconnect both hoses at washer and the taps.[ most hoses have a wire screen in hose that may be plugged ]. if all seems clear, reconnect tap hose ends. hold hoses into sink or pail and check each is running free by justturning on taps a small amount. if hoses are OK, it may be the electrical connection to the water solenoids. inspect to see if connections are secure. if all seems OK, it may be a plugged or faulty switch/tube that is indicating the empty machine is full of water.
