Whistler XCS-800 laser falsing
Just got a whistler XCS 800 cordless detector.It is almost constantly falsing laser warning.Driving me nuts.Good batteries,mounted on windshield which is pitted,does not do it when laser turned off.Works very good otherwise.Live in rural area.Had 3 other detectors never do this.(with same car,windshield)
Would the pitted windshield cause this? Doesn't seem to do it when pointed out door window.Did not seem to do it last night going home.Maybe once or twice.

Have you tried it in another vehicle to see if it still alarms? The windshield pitting will not have any effect on the unit. After you test it in another vehicle contact Whistler at 800-531-0004.
