First the thing to do is isolate the sound. use a piece of garden hose to listed to components.. I'm almost sure it's a drive pulley below the alternator. (you have 2 in the front but the one right below the alternator is the first to go.......15 dollar replacement. > The piece of garden hose will absolutely find where the noise is coming from.. > I had the same issue.. sounds like a tea kettle.. > A quick temporary work around is dry lubricant... Might be the fanbelt which could be slightly loose and would make a squeaky sound while cold.
