White film on dishes and still dirty
After my Miele G892 sc wash cycle is finished drying all the dishes are coming out with a white film. I think I narrowed it down to maybe the heating element is not working because the water while washing is not hot. It's full of rinse and salt and my soft water system is working. What could it be? I've cleaned the trap & discharge hose. I tried new soap, rinse and salt.

Check rinse aid is actually dispensing - turn it up to max for a while to clear it, and check level is going down after a week.
If you suffer with hard water - your heating element may need replacing as it is probably furred up.
