White screen hi bought a benq fp737s 17 inch monitor when it is turned on u get green light but a white screen ,screen stays white for a bit then gose black then white again for a short time ,then returns to black and the power light gose orange hope u can help thanks kevin

Dreaded capacitor issue. benq's were famous for it. if you are handy with disassembly and careful you can take it apart and do it yourself. look for any capacitors with rounded tops. i fixed one ... the part is only two dollars or so but it's a good feeling to know you fixed it instead of tossing it.

there are two common problems it seems... the backlight inverter transisters or there are some capacitors in the power supply that fail. a bad capacitor is usually easy to tell as it swells up.
