Why did Hampton Bay send me 1, 4-wire Capacitor as a replacement for 2 Capacitors with a total of 5 wires?
Ceiling Fan Model, C552htt(CH) operating at low speed when speed was set to high. G.P. Warranty sent me a 4.5 mircofarad Capacitor to replace the old Capacitor. The fan has 2 5 microfarad Capacitors. 1 has 2 wires Red and White. The other has 3 wires, Grey, Brown and Purple. This makes no sense. How can I replace 2 with 5 wires with 1 with 4 wires, Red, Yellow, Grey and Purple?
